On November 16, 2023, the ADA University’s Institute for Development and Diplomacy brought together gender experts, female managers and researchers for the roundtable discussion titled “Women’s Leadership and Gender “in” equality in Academia” within the UNESCO Participation Program
The roundtable was organized to discuss and analyze the current situation related with female underrepresentation at managerial positions of higher educational institutions and academia, in general.
The participants emphasized the importance of gender equality in senior positions. Additionally, the challenges faced by women and the ways to improve female representation at academia were among the discussed topics.
