The conference, titled 'Research in Action for Addressing Global Challanges' was organized in the frame of the GCRFCOMPASS project.
IDD brought together leading experts in policy, academic, diplomatic, and business communities together with COMPASS affiliates, as well as undergraduate and graduate students to discuss the grand challenges faced by the global community and particularly the Caucasus, Central Asian region, and the Eastern Neighbourhood.
The Conference took place on March 30-April 1, was followed by cultural tours and field trips.

The GCRFCOMPASS is an international project funded by the UK’s Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) and led by the University of Kent and the University of Cambridge (UK) in partnership with ADA University, Belarusian State University, Tajik National University, and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Uzbekistan.
