Training program for MDDT specialists completed
A graduation day was held on 22 December to mark the end of the Corporate Governance program organized for employees of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (MDDT) by the Institute for Development and Diplomacy of ADA University.
The main objective of the program was to inform the participants about management principles and modern concepts in this field and to convey fundamental concepts associated with it, as well as provide them with knowledge and skills for effective project management, control and regulation of this process.
Fariz Ismayilzade, director of the Institute of Development and Diplomacy, vice-rector of ADA University, Nargiz Ismayilova, head of specialization programs of the institute, Bakhtiyar Mammadov, Deputy Chief of Staff of MDDT, and Fidan Farzaliyeva, Advisor to the Minister of Digital Development and Transport delivered speeches at the graduation day.
Nargiz Ismayilova reported that the third training program conducted within the framework of cooperation with the ministry has been successfully completed and shared with the participants the statistical data reflecting the success of the program.
It should be noted that the subjects of the training, which started in October this year, were taught by trainers with extensive experience.
Within the program, Fariz Azizov, a member of the Board of Directors of PASHA Insurance OJSC, conducted training on “Fundamentals of Management”, and Shamsiya Mustafayeva, leading expert of the World Bank on gender equality, advisor on sustainable development, conducted training on “Emotional Intelligence”.
AgroDairy General Director Niyazi Amirbeyov delivered training on “Responsibility and Accountability”, Azercell Telecom LLC Chief of Staff Hasan Hasanov and senior research fellow at the Institute of Development and Diplomacy Inara Yagubova delivered training for the participants on “Motivation”.
In addition, Turkhan Ahmadov, Head of Public Relations and Communications at Nobel Energy conducted training on “Conducting Effective Meetings”, Orkhan Aliyev, Senior People and Culture Partner at BP plc conducted training on “Fundamentals of Performance Management”, Executive Director and Strategist at a foreign company operating in United Kingdom Naila Mehrabova, conducted training on “Change Management”.
Certificates were awarded to 185 participants who completed the training program.
