Training for employees of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport has started at ADA University

On October 5, the training program jointly organized by ADA University, the Institute for Development and Diplomacy, and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan started.

From various institutions, 180 representatives attended the program carried out by the Executive Education Program of the Institute for Development and Diplomacy of ADA University.

The main goal of the training is to reinforce the potential of professionals and increase the efficiency of personnel's activities in the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.

Vice-Rector of ADA University and Director of IDD, Dr. Fariz Ismailzade, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, Farid Ahmadov, and Advisor to the Minister, Fidan Farzaliyeva, made a speech at the opening ceremony of the training program held on October 12. Then participants also listened to the speeches of Aygun Hajiyeva, Advisor to the Vice Rector for Government and External Affairs and IDD's Deputy Director, and Nargiz Ismayilova, Head of the Executive Education Program.

Dr. Fariz Ismailzade highlighted that regular discussions are held between these institutions in increasing the personnel potential, and research centers and laboratories have been established within the framework of cooperation. Dr. Ismailzade added that the main goal of the projects and initiatives implemented with the collaborative organization of the IDD and Ministry is to train a young workforce who will work in the field of Information Technologies and be beneficial in the labor market.

Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, Farid Ahmadov, mentioned that education and regular learning benefit the development of professionals in both the public and private sectors. He said that education and traditional learning help the development of professionals working in both the public and private sectors. In this regard, the participants who have knowledge and experience will develop their skills, and by exchanging their experience with young colleagues, they will indirectly ensure participants benefit from the program.

Fidan Farzaliyeva, Advisor to the Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, pointed out that organizing training on necessary topics for the development of personnel potential and expressed her gratitude to the Executive Education Program for preparing this training with a very comprehensive content in a short period.

Aygun Hajiyeva, Deputy director of the Institute for Development and Diplomacy, spoke about the organizational activities of the Institute in her speech. She also noted that the Institute is strengthening its relations with leading think tanks and professionals representing state and private institutions and proposes new programs and projects within the framework of joint cooperation.

The Head of the Executive Education Program, Nargiz Ismayilova delivered a presentation and informed participants about the training content and the topics to be taught, and highly appreciated the support the Ministry provided in the program implementation. She stressed that more than 100 ministry employees participating in the training will be divided into different groups and receive the certificate of Executive Education Programs after completing.
