7th Annual Summer School
Refining EU’s role in EaP in the New Decade
On June 13-24, 2022, Institute of Diplomacy and Development (IDD) has conducted 7th Annual Summer School under the central theme “Refining EU’s role in EaP in the New Decade”. This program has been held within Jean Monnet Module "Enhancing capacity for EU-EaP resilient cooperation within new EaP beyond 2020 policy objectives: perspectives from Azerbaijan” (101048214 — EaP beyond 2020) which is funded under the Erasmus+ program by the European Commission. For the purpose of the School, ADA University has joined forces with Ca Foscary University of Venice (Italy) under the leadership of Jean Monnet Chair, Dr Anar Valiyev.
By bringing together final year undergraduates, post-graduate students, young professionals, and researchers who found the course suitable the Summer School created an academic platform for transmitting cutting-edge knowledge in broad sub-topics on the history, integration, functioning, and the foreign and security policy of the EU by encapsulating broad spectrum of expert lectures.
The sessions of this two-week intensive program featured inter alia the group presentations, interactive discussions, and debates. Besides, the comprehensive and diverse agenda of the Summer School included lectures, workshops, debate, group work.
