With training program conducted on October 3-7, 2022 the IDD has launched series of annual professional development Winter School course for civil servants and government officials in Azerbaijan on diverse EU related matters.

This training course has been organized within the ERASMUS+ Jean Monnet programme of the European Union, aimed at implementing the objectives of the project 101048214-EAP Beyond

“Module "Enhancing capacity for EU-EaP resilient cooperation within new EaP beyond 2020 policy objectives: perspectives from Azerbaijan".

This training program aimed at improving skills and knowledge of civil servants in implementation of EU policies, negotiation with EU institutions, have had an in depth discussion on the place of the European Union in global and regional context, on historical development path and future prospects of the EaP.

Course trainers included but were not limited to Jean Monnet Chair and current project coordinator Dr Anar Valiyev, professors and researchers of IDD Damjan Krnevic, Akhmed Humbatov, Nargiz Azizova, Inara Yagubova, researcher of Ca Foscary University Dr Carlo Frappi.
