Memorandum between IDD and the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA)
On September 21, the Institute for Development and Diplomacy and Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) have signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), showing a desire to promote cooperation regarding joint research and maintain regular contacts between the two organizations.
The memorandum was signed by Dr. Fariz Ismailzade, Vice Rector of ADA University and Director of IDD and Ambassador Mehmet Süreyya Er, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States. Under the deal, the two parties agreed on conducting a series of trainings and joint projects in areas of mutual interest and exchanging knowledge and skills as well as publications and policy research materials.
With the MoU, the parties give priority to joint research, development of intellectual resources, and introduction and elaboration of modern methods for training diplomats and specialists in the areas of foreign policy, international relations, and other relevant areas.
