On September 16, IDD hosted online GPLS, which is devoted to the topic titled, "Current Developments in the Foreign Policy of Georgia." Ambassador Tedo Japaridze, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia delivered a lecture to a large audience touching upon many issues of the foreign policy of his country and the history of diplomacy in Georgia.
Stating the importance of Georgia's security and stability for the entire landscape, Ambassador also highlighted the Georgia-Azerbaijan bilateral relationship, and integration in different global frameworks that is vital for both countries. He stated that relations between two countries in political, cultural, humanitarian, economic, and security fields are developing and progressing.
During the lecture, participants got a wide insight into the Georgian foreign policy thinking, society as well as policymakers, joining the interactive discussion and addressing their questions to Tedo Japaridze.
