Peggy Whitson, a Former NASA chief of the Astronaut Office and Director of Human Spaceflight for Axiom Space, impressed us today with a speech about her space journey and over 37 years of expertise in space and science.
"I started out as a farm girl in Iowa," says record-breaker Astronaut Whitson, who spent 675 days in total in space.
Our guest lecturer, Whitson, who is the first woman to command the International Space Station, says that astronauts are ambassadors for missions while sharing her spacewalk experience.
