Trainings on the "Communication manager" project of the Ministry for Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan are starting
Ministry for Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan presents the project, "Communication manager". The project was implemented as part of the reforms carried out in the system of the Ministry for Culture following the relevant instructions and recommendations of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Training program started the second phase of the project at ADA University.
Nargiz Ismayilova, Head of Executive Education of the Institute for Development and Diplomacy, greeted the participants and stated that this project, which is organized by IDD of ADA University and the Ministry for Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, aims to support the professional development of communication managers.
Mahammad Hamzayev, the Coordinator of the "Communication Manager" project, Media and communications manager at the Ministry for Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, expressed his gratitude to ADA University for the 5-day training course. He underlined that the goal of this project is to increase the knowledge and skills of managers appointed by the regional culture departments of the Ministry for the implementation of activities related to PR, media, and communications activities.
Aygun Hajiyeva, Deputy director of IDD, firstly gave a speech about the university. During her speech, it was noted that University presented its first projects for diplomats. She also highlighted the importance of communication skills in this field and shared her thoughts on increasing professionalism.
Afterwards Aygun Hajiyeva and the president of ADA University Foundation (Azerbaijan), Natig Hajiyev, began training on "Communication and networking skills".
The 5-day training for communication managers will be conducted by Shafag Mehraliyeva, Program Director for Communication and Digital Media Studies at the School of Public and International Affairs at ADA University, and will cover the topics on "Skills for working with traditional and social media", "Building a communication plan", "Basic written and verbal skills for media representatives", "Division of work in public relations activities".
It should be noted that the managers, as representatives accountable for media, social media, and public relations, will ensure that the events and projects of the institutions they work for are covered in the media platforms, and the public will be informed about these projects and activities, and other duties arising from this are fulfilled.
