Strategic Leadership training for “Rabitabank” representatives was held
The training was conducted by Fariz Ismailzade, Vice-Rector of ADA University, and Director of the Institute for Development and Diplomacy, and Natig Hajiyev, President of ADA University Foundation (Azerbaijan).
With the attendance of 20 employees, the training began with a session on the creation and implementation of organizational strategies. During the session led by Fariz Ismailzade, various aspects of strategic leadership, the formulation and execution of organizational strategies, and the significance of strategic vision in Azerbaijani business were discussed. Fariz Ismailzade noted that the strategy is not just a plan, but a road map that guides the organization towards its desired future. A strong strategic vision helps businesses focus on their goals and make decisions accordingly.
During the session, Fariz Ismailzade talked about the "SWOT" (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis method used in strategy formation.
The second part of the training continued with the session conducted by Natig Hajiyev. Natig Hajiyev touched on analysis methods such as "PESTLE" (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal, and Ecological) analysis. In addition, he emphasized the importance of understanding the situation and developing a clear action plan in times of complexity. During the training, Natig Hajiyev offered the participants to build a business model according to the company's strategy.
The participants were then presented with a practical exercise to assist them comprehend the structure of strategy implementation. The alignment of work with strategy and the design thinking approach was one of the primary topics covered during the training.
The training concluded with an open dialogue and Q&A session.
It should be noted that the Institute for Development and Diplomacy regularly conducts trainings for the purpose of training professionals in the public and private sectors and in the academia and strengthening the potential of personnel.
