The international training “Advanced Foreign Service Program” for foreign diplomats has ended
Vice Rector of ADA University and Director of the Institute for Development and Diplomacy, Dr. Fariz Ismailzade, Director of AIDA, Elmaddin Mehdiyev as well as Advisor to the Vice Rector for Government, External, and Student Affairs at ADA University and Deputy Director of the Institute for Development and Diplomacy (IDD) spoke at the official closing ceremony of the two-week program and addressed the success of the program and the achievements to foreign diplomats.
Diplomats from 22 nations who participated in the training program were subsequently presented with completion certificates. The diplomats from Ghana, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Greece, Russia, Niger, and Poland thanked the program's organizers, noting that the program significantly aided in the development of their professional skills and allowed them to become intimately acquainted with Azerbaijan.
The diplomats were given presentations on international politics, effective diplomatic activity, the development of professional skills and abilities, the foreign policy of Azerbaijan, priorities and successes, energy diplomacy, and Azerbanian language and culture by professors and teachers from ADA University, staff members from the Institute for Development and Diplomacy, as well as invited guest speakers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, and other state institutions.
It should be noted that 96 foreign diplomats from 63 countries have participated in the annual program. It is planned to organize the 7th stage of the program next year.
