Training program on "Universal journalist in the audiovisual media environment" started for TV journalists
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the training, ADA University Vice Rector and IDD’s Director, Dr. Fariz Ismailzade, stressed the success of the cooperation experience with the Media Development Agency. He stated that this training will bring new trend in the media industry, generate high-quality content, and support the professional development of journalists.
Ahmad Ismayilov, Chief Executive Officer at the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MEDIA), emphasized the value of holding training sessions with the participation of foreign experts to share knowledge, inspire the creative-innovative potential of journalists working in the television industry, and expand their skills based on the local application of foreign experience.
Umud Mirzayev, president of the International Eurasian Press Foundation, emphasized the importance of specialization of journalists in the television field and conducting such training series.
Aygun Hajiyeva, Advisor to the Vice Rector for Government and External Affairs and IDD’s Deputy Director and Deputy Director of IDD talked about the importance of these trainings for increasing the knowledge of media representatives and the ability of media to convey complete information to the public. Following her speech, Nargiz Ismayilova, Head of the Executive Education Program, highlighted the positive impact of media development on our society.
In the trainings, the TV journalist of “Al-Jazeera” Media Network, Mohamed Elatyeb will instruct the participants on “mobile journalism”, “video journalism”, “television journalism”, etc.
It should be noted that the main goal of the of the training sessions, which will last until October 13, is to improve news production on television, stimulate digitization, expand journalists' skills based on the local application of foreign experience in audiovisual direction, and generate quality content.
