The opening ceremony of the photo exhibition "Chile: People and Landscape" was held at ADA University
The photo exhibition was jointly organized by ADA University, Baku International Multiculturalism Centre, Institute for Development and Diplomacy, and the Embassy of the Republic of Chile in our country. The rich nature of Chile, the people's way of life and noteworthy places were displayed in the photo exhibition. Representatives of the diplomatic corps operating in our country and leaders of religious and national communities also participated in the event. Vice Rector of ADA University and Director of the Institute for Development and Diplomacy Fariz Ismailzade mentioned that ADA University hosted many international events. He also stressed the ongoing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Chile in many fields. "This exhibition will enrich the public's perception of Chile," Dr. Ismailzade added.
Rodrigo Arcos, the Ambassador of the Republic of Chile to Azerbaijan, pointed out that Chile supports Azerbaijan in international organizations: "Our relationship is developing more and more every year. The exhibition presented today will help you imagine life in Chile. In this exhibition, you will see the way of life, culture, terrain, and geography of the people living in Chile more closely."
Counsellor of the Baku International Multiculturalism Center, Aytan Gahraman, stated that the organization of this photo exhibition will increase knowledge about Chile: "Azerbaijan is an example to the world with its model of multiculturalism. The culture of other nations has been respected in our country for centuries. Chile is an interesting and beautiful country for the world. Organizing this exhibition is a great initiative for those who love this country and art at the same time."
