MEDIA has begun the seminar series on the topic, "Media and communication policy through the eyes of the media"
Within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation signed between the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and ADA University, "Media and communication policy through the eyes of the media” seminar series has been started.
The seminars are organized by the Institute for Development and Diplomacy of the ADA University in collaboration with the Azerbaijan Media Development Agency (MEDIA) and are intended for heads of press services and public relations officers of government agencies.
Deputy Director of IDD, Aygun Hajiyeva talked about organizing the first seminars and their importance.
ADA University’s Vice-rector Fariz Ismailzade expressed his satisfaction with the success of the cooperation with the Media Development Agency. He emphasized that the use of the University's training and research potential by implementing reforms in important fields such as media and communication opens up opportunities for the application of the most advanced scientific theories and practices and the use of ADA's international cooperation network.
Chief Executive Officer at MEDIA, Ahmet Ismayilov, noted that creating conditions for strengthening cooperation relations between state bodies and media subjects and implementing measures related to increasing mutual trust is one of the main tasks of the Agency. He underlined the importance of conducting this type of seminar series.
Javid Musayev, Head of the Communication Policy Sector of the Presidential Administration, said that so many events have been organized for the development of the media sector since the establishment of the Media Development Agency. He noted that close cooperation with ADA University in this direction is an excellent initiative.
The purpose of the two-week series of seminars is to build professional relationships, develop effective communication strategies, influence agenda formation, plan proactive and reactive activities according to the agenda as well as increase internal communication and team spirit, and achieve better quality content by working with traditional and social media.
The seminars will consist of speeches by local and foreign experts, interactive discussion sessions, and group assignments.
