ADA University and School No. 207 Join Forces for Environmental Awareness and Tree-Planting Event

On March 28, 2024, ADA University students partnered with students from School No. 207 to organize a meaningful tree-planting and environmental awareness event as part of the “Following the Enlightenment” project. Supported by the ADA University Foundation and the Coca-Cola Foundation, this initiative was aimed at fostering environmental responsibility and sustainability among young people.  

The event commenced with a collaborative tree-planting activity, during which participants planted trees in the grounds of School No. 207. This symbolic act not only contributed to greening the local environment but also embodied a commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and climate action. Each tree planted represented a step toward a healthier and more sustainable future.  

Following the tree-planting activity, an engaging awareness session was conducted to educate participants about pressing environmental issues. Topics such as the effects of climate change, the significance of reducing carbon footprints, and the need for collective action were discussed. Students were encouraged to reflect on their role in protecting the environment and to adopt practical steps toward sustainable living.
