Science, Technology and Innovation, Digitalisation Day Discussion at COP29

On Science, Technology, and Innovation, Digitalisation Day within COP29, the Institute for Development and Diplomacy (IDD) at ADA University organized a Science Day discussion at the Blue Zone.

The event, titled "Caspian Sea Basin Tipping-point: Regional Policy Framework towards Agile Mitigation and Adaptation Strategies," was co-organized by ADA University, Caspian Integrated Scientific Network (CASPISNET), Port of Baku, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

The event brought together a diverse group of international experts representing leading organizations such as the Global Environmental Policy Program (Geneva), United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), UN-Habitat, and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the pressing environmental challenges facing the Caspian Sea Basin. The platform facilitated an exchange of ideas, best practices, and innovative policy ideas aimed at promoting regional cooperation and developing effective responses to climate change and environmental risks.
