
IDD hosted the Caspian Week Forum at ADA University
The Institute of Development and Diplomacy (IDD) hosted the "Environmental Bridges to Peace and Prosperity" within the Caspian Week Forum. The forum held at ADA University, the official Academic Partner of COP29, gathered policymakers, environmental experts, and business innovators to address the urgent climate challenges of modern time.
The main topic of the Forum was focused on leveraging environmental cooperation to reduce political tensions, foster peace, and promote sustainable prosperity in the Greater Caspian Region and beyond. Attendees participated in high-level discussions, covering key topics such as a decline in water levels of the Caspian Sea, climate adaptation, water resource management, methane emission reduction, as well as carbon capture, biodiversity preservation, sustainable agriculture, green logistics, etc.
The Forum served as a platform for fostering regional and global collaboration on climate action and offered innovative solutions for environmental protection.
