IDD will be hosting the Caspian Integrated Scientific Network (CASPISNET)
The Institute for Development and Diplomacy expands its international collaboration.
We are pleased to announce that IDD will be hosting the Caspian Integrated Scientific Network (CASPISNET).
Since its inception, CASPISNET has been active in pooling scientific resources across national boundaries towards evidence based policy formulation in respect to Caspian environmental, social, and economic dynamics and challenges.
Collective knowledge on the Caspian basin will enable regional professionals and policy makers to upgrade the understanding and analysis of the complexity and interconnected elements of change including climate, biodiversity, national resource management, demographic distribution, and infrastructure deployment among a wide array of other dynamics.
CASPISNET intends to position itself during the upcoming periods as a key contributor to IDD, linking evidence based and practice informed emerging risks with new scientific methods, as well as policy formulation for the region with the objective of connecting mitigation and adaptation policies towards global change and thus, insuring the wellbeing of the communities in the region and the health of their natural environment.
