On October 27, Dr. Fariz Ismailzade, Director of IDD, and Ms. Inara Yagubova, Senior Research Fellow at IDD, participated in and delivered speeches at the international conference “The Right to Return in International Law”, co-organized by CAP Freedom of Conscience and the Western Azerbaijan Community in Brussels, Belgium.

The conference explored the legal, historical, and humanitarian dimensions of the right to return — a principle deeply rooted in international law, yet often challenged in practice.
