Foreign diplomats visited Shusha
The foreign participants learned about the devastation caused by nearly 30 years of occupation and the destruction of the rich cultural and historical heritage of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories. Following their visit to the Govhar Agha Mosque and the shot monuments, the guests were introduced to the "Heydar Aliyev and Karabakh" exhibition, which organized within the framework of the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. Foreign diplomats who visited the house-museum of Khurshidbanu Natavan and Shusha Castle were informed about the history of Shusha, its social and political significance in the region, and the construction of the Shusha Castle.
In the end, the foreign guests who visited the Jidir Plain emphasized the significance of the extensive repair and reconstruction projects, including the rebuilding of the city that had been obliterated in the previous three decades.
Professional diplomats representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, professors and teachers from ADA University, staff members from the Institute for Development and Diplomacy, representatives from the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, as well as the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, SOCAR, ANAMA, the Karabakh Revival Foundation, and the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) delivered lectures and presentations for foreign diplomats from twenty-two countries in the extensive two-week program.
