IDD's Deputy Director Ms. Aygun Hajiyeva is on a visit to Vietnam
Ms. Aygun Hajiyeva, Advisor to the Vice Rector for Government, External, and Students Affairs of ADA University and Deputy Director of the Institute for Development and Diplomacy is on a visit to Vietnam as of May 10.
Within the visit, Ms. Aygun Hajiyeva delivered a keynote address to a conference titled, "Heydar Aliyev: Historical Mission in Building Friendship Between Azerbaijan and Vietnam", which was dedicated to the centenary of Heydar Aliyev's birth.
The speakers at the event held at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam touched upon the historical roots of Azerbaijan-Vietnam relations and mentioned that the National Leader laid the foundation for friendly bonds between the two countries.
During the discussion about the role of the National Leader in developing the educational field, the speakers talked about his visionary approach to training and cultivating professional diplomatic staff who can contribute to the development of bilateral relations.
Ms. Hajiyeva emphasized that the National Leader initiated a program whereby Azerbaijanis could study in Vietnam, while more than 5,000 Vietnamese were trained and educated in Azerbaijani higher education institutions. Today, ADA University is a melting pot of international students from Vietnam and other countries and proudly advances Heydar Aliyev's legacy in the provision of a top-notch education in the region.
While presenting IDD, a research center of ADA University established in 2022, Deputy Director Hajiyeva underlined that the IDD supports ADA University's mission by deepening engagement and outreach with expert, research, and policymaking communities, and nurturing the capabilities of professionals from government and the private sector.
