“News sources of journalists specializing in foreign policy: Azerbaijan’s foreign policy and new realities in international relations”
A training session titled “News sources of journalists specialising in foreign policy: Azerbaijan’s foreign policy and new realities in international relations” was held at ADA University on September 27–28, 2023. At the end of the training, IDD’s director, Dr. Fariz Ismailzade and Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, Mr. Ahmad Ismayilov delivered welcome remarks and talked about the pressing topics on Azerbaijan’s foreign policy agenda. The head of the Communication policy sector at the Presidential Administration, Mr. Javid Musayev and the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Aykhan Hajizada delivered a speech about the role of media during the 44-day Patriotic War and in the course of recent anti-terror measures undertaken by Azerbaijan. Their speech also focused on the communication strategy conducted by the state. The participants of the training received their certificates upon the conclusion of the event.
